When you’ve got something that rich, you should go with it. And that’s how it starts to feel nostalgic, but never retro. It’s always fresh, because if you can’t surprise the audience with new characters, then it might as well be a game over. Just go re-watch the old show, and it’s a museum piece. But when you have something that is vital, it just opens up more avenues for storytelling.
