Is Jem perfect? No.
But is she the best new mass market doll we’ve seen in years? YES!
Jem blew me away on just how good she is for a reasonable $25 price point. She’s a great looking doll with a great doll body and a ton of accessories to boot. Finally, a full figured articulated fashion doll that doesn’t have a baby face bobble head or a cartoonish anorexic body. Thank God & Trump for that! Jem is a breath of fresh air compared to what Mattel & MGA have been offering for over a decade now.
Here’s hoping that Loyal Subjects will go further to release all of Holograms & Misfits in doll form. If you are a Jem fan, run to your local Wal-Mart RIGHT NOW to get this doll. Get multiples just for the clothes alone for your naked vintage Jem dolls! And if you’re not a Jem fan, consider buying one anyway to support a quality new doll line that’s doing something different from the big two doll makers out there. Jem is excitement. Jem is adventure. Jem is an outrageous doll!
