I just like 1:18 scale better, so joytoy wins for me, but by a small margin.
Both lines blast the ever loving FUCK out of bandai lmao. MSRP was what, $100? Had to wait, too, or else pay double as late tax? And from what I can tell, quality is only slightly above McFarlane? And that's ignoring the atrocious gravis captain lol.
Joytoy is about just under double McFarlane in price tag, but you also get that much more, too, so it's a pretty fair trade off.
I would have liked some things done by McFarlane, regardless (like a wraithguard, so I could mod it into a custom giant wraith unit for the miniatures lmao! Fuck paying like $140, if I can get one for $20 plus bits and customizing!)
