And i can't provide any clear pictures, because most prototypes I've seen are behind glass and the lighting is very bright. Pretty hard to get a good picture when they're like that.
See pic, where you can barely notice the tip of the nose having a bubble.
If you were around when this prototype was laughed at here on /toy/, for Mattel literally using a Hasbro head, you'd know that it was praised nonetheless and got a ton of praise at the show itself.
It's very easy to overlook paint flaws because the specks and other flaws are the same color as the rest of the face, whether it's a production figure or prototype. It blends in
