>>7062679Right then, I've done a bit of research since this morning and have, barring some item I'm not familiar with, narrowed it down to one of three options:
>HBT trousers (pictured)The crotch flap means this is probably the correct one for the two sitting down. The colour isn't brown, though. It's khaki for the early version and a light-ish olive drab for the later.

I'll just go ahead and paint the unidentifieds a shade of khaki. The detail on the figures really doesn't make it obvious, even less so for the shoes, and the box art was done decades ago before standards of accuracy were as demanding as they are today. As I understand it anyway the tankers of WW2 were fans of mismatching their uniforms for what they found comfortable.
