it's hard to say
siege seems to be borrowing from IDW
the helmet shape having an extra plate around the bottom in particular, as well as his eyes being so squinty.

One worry is the seemingly unavoidable paint scratching, just wanted to ask people who have them how big of that issue is

Do I just shell out the dozens of dollars in a few years, and just enjoy the figure as a guy that I can swoosh and smash around? Planning/hoping to get some MP figures some day. Still doubtful that the KOs are identical to the MPs tho, the differences between the cassette-bots were enough for me to prefer the non-KO paint

Definitely fits in with Takara's recent slavish adherence to the cartoon model. I'm actually not sure I like that for Megatron though - too scrawny.

I do like the flat grey over the silver though. And that back... wow. It's a mess, but I'm really keen to see how this thing transforms. Hope they sort the droopiness out on the gun mode before release too
