But I would've loved if they just fully embraced the corniness of heman and had smaller cheaper sets with mostly simple cgi backgrounds. Make them look rather clear to be "matte paintings" and have most of it be just people wrasslin in greenscreen rooms with mossy rocks on the floor, or like some xena tier sets. "realism" should never even be a priority for heman stuff outside feeling a bit grounded in how they wrestle eachother so they don't dip into boring flashy anime stuff.
As long as the castings are great and the makeup/costumes looks like the vintage toys and actors play it straight butt ham it the fuck up, i'd watch it.
Have small scale quarrels a la the beastwars cgi cartoon and i'm happy. That's were the "freak vs freak" formula will shine the most.
Huge anime battles outside the occasional he-man deus ex machinima move that goes slightly more anime battle just once per episode I can deal with.

environments like this are pretty much the easiest to make in cgi and you don't even have really give a shit about autistic realism that much.
You can build some small sets for smaller indoor rooms or props where needed.
