I think they leaned a little more on the Takara side of things with it because the dark red ab plate fits with the thigh color fairly well (it's not the same shade but it's still good). The murky blue hasbro color doesn't stand out as much as I expected it to. It actually breaks up the blue kiiind of well, but I still think it would have been nicer if it were just one shade of blue.
I'd love to find out exactly what type of paint they used for the takara blue, though, since it's the exact same color as the paint used on the X2 kit and on the stock toy itself. It's definitely just some standard industrial paint that you could totally find somewhere.
