>>9830331I was wondering why the “Batman” part of the box art logo was in a very similar font to the one used for Batman Beyond, and the toy even being called “Batman of the Future”. I looked it up and, apparently, in a lot of other places outside of the US, Batman Beyond was actually called “Batman of the Future”.
The odd thing in that toy is that the Batman figure it comes with seems to be Bruce Wayne’s Batman instead of Terry McGinnis. There were some flashbacks in the show that showed an aging Bruce trying out different batsuits to try and prolong his time as the Dark Knight, but I don’t think any of them looked like that. But seeing as how that whole set seems to be reusing stuff, I guess it was then just getting rid of left over inventory/using molds that they still had while they still could.
