Tried acrylic panel lining with just paint + thinner/water, got mixed results. On the thigh you can see the scratches I made when the scriber slipped as I tried to deepen the channels.
I also tried hand detailing the knee vent, but it's a piss-poor job. How would you guys handle something like that? It's a somewhat sunken surface, which makes it a candidate for a wash, right? But the edge of the area facing outwards has no hard border, making it easy to dab away paint you want to keep when cleaning up.
