>>6128956The problem is that they won't cut back on the glass-shards-and-scrap designs enough to matter. Filling a face design with random bits and pieces looks awful, and if you insist on keeping that look through the humanizing process it just looks Freddy Kruger-esque.
At this point there's no reason not to drop the walking-dumpster aesthetic completely. The aesthetic is moving in that direction already, it's cheaper to animate, it looks better, and it makes the toys easier to sculpt in smaller scales. Everyone would win except for Bay's ego.
