>>10567668I'm of two minds on the subject. On the one hand, sometimes I want every team member ASAP (like I wish some teams were completed before the latest head sculptor who loves Zoolander lips so damn much took over) and on the other hand I want a break, and 30 releases per year split with MCU garbage means years and years of waiting. I mean, there are still a ton of figures I'm slowly getting around to picking up because they are C, D, and even Z-listers that I don't "need". Hell, the Serpent Society has been underwhelming pretty much from the start, and I'm just not compelled to finish Puff Adder. I'm excited for the Mindless Ones wave, and then I'm excited to get a wallet break for the Harkness wave, and then I'll circle back to older figures I've been waiting on like Thunderstrike with his goofy face, maybe I'll finish my Joe Fixit BAF.
Pricing has also changed my mind. I'm not as enthusiastic as I once was, and I've been collecting over 20 years of ML now.
When we talk Quality over Quality, I don't have as much of a fit over say BuckyCap as so many others do, because BuckyCap is still better than a majority of the original ToyBiz figures. I get the realities of the toy industry, and I'm not retarded enough to EXPECT Hasbro to do what we say 100% of the time. I'm long since used to reused molds.
When it comes to comics figures (what I collect) you can almost HEAR the scraping sound of the bottom of the barrel. While I'm dying for figures like the Warriors Three, I don't want to get bent over by Hasbro to have to buy another repeat figure in a 2pack to get them or any of their other shady tactics.
