I got one set that wouldn't apply correctly, maybe because it was stored at an improper temperature. I actually usually put G1 decals on my G2 stuff, not because I'm a G1 purist, but I just don't care much for the G2 badges.
Pic related are Oceans "metallic" badges. They look really good on metallic/shiny figures, I used them on Bee and Grinder and they look great.
