Transformers can take a lot of damage and live as long as the spark chamber is intact.Still, others have taken a fuckload worse and lived. They're really inconsistent with what actually can kill a 'bot. Some get their heads blown clean off and die on the spot, others it happens to and they're completely fine, etc.
