The ML is top tier amongst MLs, there's no denying that, and they did some things better than the Mafex like, in my opinion, the unmasked head and the torso. But then the Mafex has better accessories just on the basis you actually get a regular shield, hell you get two of them, has better articulation, and better proportions imo. But it is extremely close. Closer than I thought it would be tbqh. Did Hasbro just do THAT good a job with these Avengers figures? Iron Man and Cap, I feel like it boils down to personal preference, but then the ML Thor is just outright better than the Mafex based on size alone.
