>>11340189>Nothing but people complaining about figures that they don't even ownIf you're tlaking about me, why would i own a figure if it's poorly made?
Unlike most people in this thread, i'm actually a long time fan of the series and like for my toys to look like they're from the source material. I think anyone is allowed to bitch if any company does a poor job at producing toys that fans want to see.
As a fan of the WH40k series, i WANT to own more, but the constant QC problems and lack of care for the property from Joytoy holds me back from buying a ton of product. I've never seen such a slipshod collectors line.
I think the problem is a bunch of shills/brand fanboys will defend a mediocre/bad product, coming up with inane reasoning that everyone else is at fault, including blaming the Games Workshop for something that is clearly just a Joytoy problem.
They endlessly argue with anyone who has legitmate complaints, lowering the quality of the thread and even the rest of the board, just to defend the company.
And the reason no other /toy/ thread is as bad as this one is solely because of them. Most other threads will admit that there's a scaling problem and leave it at that (or get ultra nerdy with the source material to validate an instant). Gold paint is shit? Yeah, it's shit and they should improve. In the Warhammer thread? NO YOUR A SHIT AND EVERYTHING YOU LIKE A SHIT AND HERE BE 100000X REASONS WHY YOU A BAD PERSON TO EXPECT IT TO BE GOLD.
... okay, maybe Figuart fanboys in the 10s were just as bad when Bandai was using some really sketchy sculptors, but that was almost 10 years ago and modern threads aren't like that anymore. More people are willing to admit things look bad, except here in the WH40k threads.
