I should have been more vigilant or more thorough in sanding down the nubs. I thought that I have sanded down the nubs, but looking at the pictures, it seems I missed a lot.
I really should have used a primer first. Because I just directly painted the kit without priming it first, I painted the armor parts blue, where some of them are correctly painted, while some other parts are poorly painted, because I missed a lot of areas. priming it first would make it obvious which parts are not yet painted.
should have a better toolbox organizer. now I am missing a part(the top part of the beam saber/cannon)
got too excited and basically top coated the kit even before putting it together. made the decals not worth to put in.
also, should have the consistency of the matte top coat used on the kit. some of the parts have Tamiya Top Coat on it. while the other parts have Mr. Color. The Mr. Color top coat is really bad, it made a lot of frosting. and it is more watery than Tamiya, so I had a hard time adjusting it from Tamiya .
Just learned after buying the Mr. Color top coat that Mr. Color sells Premium Mr. Color top coat which has better painting abilities.
