>>10013544I almost always test the first pattern draft in muslin because it doesn't stretch, so it stays true to size for the paper pattern, and I can clip it, write on it easily, pin it, etc., to make corrections, take it apart and use the corrections to redraw the paper pattern. It took a couple of tries to learn to compensate for the lack of stretch, compared to Minky, but it's not an issue for me now. You can see the two tuquoise blue "plushes" in the background of the camel pic. Those are Minky tests for a Beary Pink, so I sometimes test the muslin-corrected pattern in Minky before doing the final plush.
