I feel like this is good for a free set, but not as great as it could have been. Three things that irk me in hand:
>The stickers suck, Lego could have very well gone printed for this set. It's only two pieces and even one in the concept model by the fan, so I don't see why Lego cheaped out. Don't think I mind the front sticker too much, but it looks strange on the curved bumper.
>Not a fan of the black plate on the back of the car either, it feels so out of place. Especially if you're the kind of person to leave them off. I replaced it with a silver metallic 1x2 and I think it looks fine as a substitute.
>The surfboards suck. I love how they work to create detail, but are held on so flimsily it's not even worth it, or at least not while thinking of dragging out dreaded superglue like a heretic.
Again, it's good, I don't hate it. But it feels like it could have been more premium for such a limited offer set. Could have used metallic instead of light blue-grey also.
Speaking of cars, got the Expert Mustang as my purchase. Maybe that set is blowing me away too much in comparison to this well-designed smaller one.
