I find podcast setups are better with back and forth as well. I could see a BJD podcast going somewhere though, get the more outgoing of a meetup group together, do some Q&A segments, and there could be something there.
Either way, keep on shilling them, what else you got?

It's best as sort of a support to another form of entertainment imo- like a game having a discord channel to look for groups or etc.
And while collecting and customizing works... kinda, it just doesn't have the same backbone as a video game.
