The period between Toy Biz to Hasbro happened under his watch and there was a huge dumbing down of 1:12 because of that.
They cheaped out so much that that Hasbro instead switched to 1:18 scale, because of how bad their 1:12 figures were. Great for 1:18 fans, but not for 1:12.
Then Hasbro fucked over 1:18 by cheaping out here, because they wanted to funnel collectors into 1:12 because $20 is a bigger number than $8.99.
Now MLs are $23 or $24, which is a higher price than what other companies are producing for 1:10 and 1:12 scale.
So for all of the good that Hasbro produced, mostly thanks to the REAL toy makers working at Hasbro, you can see how greedy Hasbro is as a business and how they manipulated their customers.
CEOs leaving a company or dying is nothing to cry about, unless you personally know them. Their actions are usually not respectable unless you're a stockholder or aim to be a CEO.
