What was their reaction?My wife doesn't care, my kids occasionally MOC with me, but they're getting to the age where phones and friend groups are more important than toys. My nephews think it's the coolest shit ever and we build together a lot. My nieces are the same ages as my kids, so they don't give a shit. Though one of my nieces legit thought I was unemployed and played with Lego all day while my wife worked to support my habit. Mom, brother, in-laws and friends don't care, but my dad thinks my designs are amazing. But he's an engineer, so that's probably why.
My blog aside, who cares what people think? You're not out gambling money away or spending it on whores and drugs. I have picrel coming in the mail today and my nephew is excited to build some Spaceships for the crew. Share your hobbies with your friends and family and you just might get some fellow builders.
