So annoying. And if you don't buy the less popular costume, they don't make the other version due to lack of interest.
>making less popular characters and then canceling the line because they didn't sell
Figuarts decided to test the market of Gundam pilots with Domon and Master Asia. G Gundam is not the most popular Gundam by any stretch of the imagination in the East or West. A Char prototype was shown. Char is by far the most popular character and they never released his figure. KH had a figuarts line. Sora sold well. They then followed him up with Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. Then cancelled the line. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, are nowhere near people's favorite KH characters.
Sentinel had a 4 Inch Mega Man line. They made all the Mega Men. All of them but Star Force's sold out quick. They then followed it up with an OC Mega Man no one wanted and 2 versions of Mega Man Legends Roll. Not Blues/Proto Man. Not Bass/Forte. Not MMX/MMZ Zero. Not a Battle Network character. Not even Classic Roll. They made a tertiary character from the least popular Mega Man series. Then cancelled the line when it didn't sell.
>having stupid exclusivity rules when the product is in demand
