>>10038577Yeah, I swapped the studs for pink ones and I think it looks better. The whole kit is full of neat stuff and techniques; the fridge opens up and fires noodle tiles, whole abs section is built upside down using the sides of plates to hold it and the bowl together.
>>10038345>Vidiyo mechsAh dude that's fuckin' genius. Underrated minifigs with a lot of theming seems like the perfect combo. The mechs themselves are cool too. Them and the Coyote are great inspiration.
Just did the school run and swung into tescos on the way back to see if they had the marvel mechs; had 'em 2 for 15, got Iron Man and a second Negro Feline for parts (mainly the chestpiece). Gonna dig through my minifigs and see who'd work with a black or gold cockpit and take a crack at it.
>>10038256>he show itself is way better than it has any right to be (especially starting in season 2), and the sets are really great.Hard agree. The noodle tank caught my eye first time I saw it (luv me ramen, simple as), watched season 1 to see if I liked the show and yeah, it's way better than it should be.
Finally got round to watching the episode with the Noodle Tank in it and either I'm on crack or it had a whole bunch of references to TTGL and Kill la Kill. Show carries its own weight if you disregard all the reference stuff.
I'd love to see the any of the smaller ones you've got on display if you get the chance.
>>10038899>>10038902>Noodle shop>City of Lanterns>Widened road plates so Speed Champions cars fit>An actual city blockAh dude that's a hell of a nice trip hazard. If you're alright with having it on a low table, I think the IKEA Lack tables are pretty good. the 55cm x 55cm one comfortably fits 4 32 stud baseplates on it. and since they're square you can expand on them easily. Cheap as chips too since they're made out Cardboard 2.0.
One of the bigger ones is 55cm wide so they can work with the square one. They even have a shelf underneath that you can store trash in.
