Oh man I've been browsing bricklink for the first time and I randomly found a set that DEFINED my childhood spent with Lego, and I completely forgot I even owned it, to the point that I thought some pieces from it I remembered must have come from some space set. It wasn't the biggest set I had but it was the coolest:

Pieces from this set formed a base for so many jet/helicopter/spaceship/submarine builds I did as a kid, damn.
Seriously tempted to buy it right now, it's not even expensive, but I already spent too much on Lego for a while. Man, what a blast from the past.
