Huh, I just realized you can flip the shoulderpads upside down and they'll cover WAY more of the shoulder joint. His right is flipped, left is out of the box. They also collapse, so they can get a little wider to cover more or sink in to still let his arm go out.
they're correctly marked L and R so they're on the right side, but maybe they all just shipped upside down? It seems too perfect to not be intentional.
