Before crossing the line he notes the coordinates of the breach and other useful information on his mission recorder. Should his capture or death be an imminent inevitability he will trigger the recorder to dump all of his gathered intel in a burst transmission... seconds before detonating a powerful explosive wired throughout his gear, vaporizing him and everything in a 20 meter radius. The Captain knows he will not hesitate should such a scenario occur, but hopes to never see his resolve so tested.
