>>>9722072Brah you'll be overwhelmed with losing so much shit, but ANYTHING surviving will brighten your day.
Besides, a lot of times a fire doesn't burn everything down. A lot of damage that happens to your house is from firemen tearing your walls and roof apart to get at the fire. There's a ton of water damage that will happen to the rest of oyur house, because they need to get to that ONE room that is engulfed in flames.
So your toys won't get trashed if they're in the closest that's right next to your kitchen, because the firemen needed to break apart the walls in that closet, cracking open all the boxes in there with a metal pole and they spray 100 gallons in a split second into the closet.
Plus, fucking smoke damage. Holy shit, this is probably the worst.
Never had a fire, but i've know people who did, and just minor fires can be devastating. Just thinking about this makes me want to get enclosed bookcases and just putting weather striping on the doors.
>>9722062>The vast majority of my collection is on display so whether or not my storage containers can survive a flood or fire is kind of a moot pointso you're backpedaling and don't actually believe that these things are too expensive, and you're only saying they're bad beacuse you're only arguing with me just for attention?
>Why is this so triggering to you?I was asking why you think they're bad. How autistic are you that responding to someone is considered a negative action?
I mean, if you really are that lonely and you're just arguing just to argue for (you)s and you consider any response is a success, but come on.
Anyway, i get to evangelize ammo cans, because more people should seriously use them. Peace of mind if you store your toys, because of how super durable they are and can fit anywhere, in tighter spots. Whereas plastic boxes take up much more room because to be durable, they need to be overengineered and oversized.
I'm trying to be helpful, whereas you're just shitposting.
