>>9376997Well, the people on /a/ are a bit of the elitist type. lots of trolls, etc. Yeah there are some on this board as well but not nearly as bad. I had a mixed reception last year on /a/, there santa wasn't nearly good at communicating with the people participating like /toy/'s santa was. /a/ also focuses heavily on cards, you can choose just to make cards instead of sending a gift if you want. I'm giving it a second go around this year on /a/ to give it a chance, hoping with the higher tier level more effort in put into it this year. I had no complaints about the cards I received, they went above and beyond.
but just from last years experience, /toy/ is definitely the better board overall and much more friendly.
Was also thinking of trying the secret santa on /k/ as well when it starts, I'm a bit of a gun nut as well, lol.
