that's the only reason it's $400
if it's a toy for kids, it would have been $100 tops. maybe $120. but Lego is going to sell it to full grown, tech-science-engineer-job-having adults who grew up watching Trek. and if those people would buy it for $200, then surely they will buy it for $400. so why not make it $400?
there might be a few "rock star" of "corporate CEO" types who have $400 to dump on a gift for their kid. Here! it's the thing Daddy grew up watching! so maybe 0.0001% will be bought for an actual child
