Turns out they are a complete waste of time.
Only glossis good enough to run through airbrush unthinned, but even then I needed thinner. Other two coat types are the consistency yacht wooden deck lacquer.
On top of that, the glossy coat just. Won't. Dry.
I have a plane model I coated with two coats of gloss, diluted slightly, and this was maybe some 6 months back.
It's still tacky to this day.
Fuck AK coats, get yourself some good stuff like Mr Hobby Mr Colour GX 100, Mr Colour thinner to go along with it and for the semi and matte, go with Alclad II.
Seriously, fuck AK top coats, they ruined my model.
