>>10851871You can always use any kind of paint to cover any kind of parts as long as you add primer beforehand. As for transparent parts, I tested with some success using matte varnish as primer replacement for transparent parts and most companies have transparent version of paints available. Last time I used them however was few years ago and while I liked the effect, it was not completely transparent either. Used Vallejo transparent blue back then, it also stained brush greatly.
Here is said result, customised Kaede Agatsuma, blue part of wings are done with transparent paint.
