anyway for those not in the know, Zoids have kinda split into two branches now, the stupidly-small-pieces high-end model kits that cost a billion dollars and have crummy spindly proportions, and vastly-simplified ones for younger kids, with the parts all separated out for you and/or parts of it prebuilt, with crummy -stubby- proportions... and I think that's a big mistake. In particular the latter don't even mostly have very good designs, with a lot of ugly weird Skeksis-esque beaky faces on their dinosaurs
but some chinamen apparently took the skeletons of these and designed new, more fitting armor pieces for them, turning them into different dinosaurs, and I just ordered me a quartet of em. They're pretty swell, the only thing better would be for them to put normal 1/72 cockpits back in, but that's asking a bit much.
