A growing boy needs:
>hot bodacious babes to lust over>powerful men of good character to inspire them>cute sissy femboys for him to subjugate A growing boy needs the drive to conquer, to RULE.
What were we talking about? Oh right, it wasn't amazing. Old he-man worked because kids felt powerless in life and the POWER taglines sucked them in. Even little girls would swap ken for he-man, with gi joes too. But by 2002 that wasn't a social cultural thing anymore. Kids had more power and ALL other boy toys had big powerful cool dudes, usually as animals like ninja turtles and street sharks. Saturated market.
I got he-man and skeletor though. They were really cool and I skipped a family event to watch the premier. I remember not desiring any other toy though, aside from the cats so they could ride them.
Anyway they needed femboys.
