Even if I don't understand how you can find these oversimplified things pleasing to look at.
I love simple builds too, like the Metru builds for Toa and Matorans.
But some creations are meant to be large and complex, like the Dark Hunters. They're supposed to feel like Titan- or combiner sets.

Last bit of advice:
You seem like the type that could make great Agori and Glatorian, because all of them actually use simple ass builds in the actual franchise.
