Under the guise of rebranding for the new generation of fans, Ever After High went from being a very promising/creative fairy tale line to the generic princess line and as such, it was finally confirmed by Mattel that EAH is not being produced anymore. Monster High got more effort put into their reboot but it wasn't enough as it basically got rid of everything that made G1 so fresh and unique. The girls were more generic and their clothes and accessories (when they got them) didn't have a lot of effort put into them.
I know the last lines made for EAH were the Back to School line and additions to the Tea Party line. The Back to School one actually had decent dolls, with new ones for Cupid and Meeshell, but it wasn't enough for a line that was already less popular than its sister line.
