Still kinda mystified that they elected to make the Frostraven of all things, I did get one eventually at a discount and it's a pretty cool (heh) aircraft but was it really the best choice? The Kodiak as the other major HW2 set was nice, though the gun can't traverse horizontally (might be able to mod it with a turntable piece but I haven't tried anything yet).
20 bucks for the Firebase is a steal for sure. Trying to think of the best deal I ever got for a new Mega set at retail and it might be the one still sitting around unopened - one of those confounded Banished turrets that Walmarts around here overstocked and had piles of for months, cuz nobody was going to buy them at $79 CAD. They eventually slashed that to $39 but people still weren't biting (by then had already bought one for about the same off Amazon). Then one day one of the Walmarts slashed it again to $19 apiece, figured I might as well get another at that price. All this time TRU had that set almost constantly at $99 CAD lol...
By far though my best ever Mega score was pic related, a kijiji deal that set me back a whole 15 maplebucks.
