I have a bunch of Dragon Stars figures that I use as place holders until SHF releases the character proper (then I give the DS figure to my nephew). Aside from maybe Frieza, Cell is easily the best and only one that doesn't look like ass. And if you want to say it had a different "finish" from the SHF's, you must not have many SHF's because their finishes are different across the entire line. Nobody is trying to say DS Figures blow SHF out of the water. We're just saying that DS Cell is an anomaly because:
1) Figuarts Cell is under sized and the sculpt isn't faithful to the character
2) DS Stars is the correct size and, despite the shitty hands and articulation flaws, bears an incredible likeness to the character.
It's like the perfect storm of an Early SHF being kinda shitty, and a Dragon Stars figure being surprisingly decent.
