>>10070775Regular Slicer already is a G1 character. SG Wheeljack/Slicer just shares his colors, so the upcoming SG Slicer figure is also a G1 Slicer figure. Hasbro even suggested as much in the video announcing him when they talked about making his Decepticon insignia more purple-ish so he could represent either character.
The only reason there's all this confusion over G1 Slicer and SG Wheeljack having the same colors is because the Botcon toy for him in 2010 was a repaint of Energon Downshift, which had an Autobot insignia molded into his chest. Since Funpub couldn't remove this molding, they had to justify it. So, they painted the Autobot insignia molding in SG purple, but also gave him Decepticon insignias in G1 purple, and depicted a scene in the comic featuring SG Wheeljack disguising himself as G1 Slicer (hence him taking on that name... or technically the name, "Slice," on the profile card since they had rights issues with "Slicer" at the time) so that when they met, SG Wheeljack could trick Slicer into thinking he was meeting a version of himself from the future.
That MTG "G1" Slicer is just Slicer with Armada Wheeljack's colors/insignia. It's a fun repaint idea, but it isn't what G1 Slicer actually looks like, despite the label on the card. In fact, this color scheme probably would've worked much better for a SG version of Slicer since it would've been kinda neat to have both Slicers have references to different Wheeljacks.
