why does THING-BUT-LEGO sell at all?
the best-worst example was the Pac-Man arcade set, which sold at the same time you could literally buy the same exact thing, but it was a real arcade cabinet that really played the Pac-Man video game, and both of them were the same price (was the 1-Up machine cheaper? I can't remember...)
there's some kind of consumer insanity going on that I'm not smart enough to figure out
also LMAO the Lego Pac-Man machine DID come with a minifigure!
