...jiminy crap, this thread blew up since last night.
>>8905085The 4H are indeed cheap, they said so when they explained why they stopped going to SDCC. While they may not pay for the full table, they still have to pay to travel their with all their gear and supplies and that stuff costs a lot.
>>8905124>toy companies selling exclusives, like 4H, are blamed too.The 4H actually make great efforts to not do con exclusives anymore. In fact the last real "exclusive" figure they did was in their first ML kickstarter with the KS exclusive Valgard Dwarf, and even then they wanted to offer him for sale after the KS but the fans had a bit of a melt down. Since then, any "exclusives" have been repainted weapon sets and not much else. Nowadays they just do convention "Premiere" figures, who anyone can buy online. The con exclusive is going the way of the dodo, even big companies like Hasbro and Mattel are making them available online in larger quantities these days.
>>8905200The 4H don't do virtual exclusives though, they don't do ANY real "exclusives" at this point. Even the "exclusive" Horseman Ogre was a made to order set who has a recolor option without all the added "bundle" crap who was also made to order.
While the 4H Facebook group may be a toxic dumphole, I feel that's more indicative of Facebook then it is the 4H fanbase. The old forums, the Fwoosh 4H thread and even this one are filled with plenty of long time fans who only try to help out newcomers and genuinely enjoy the line.
>>8905217Compared to their original model of making one figure with multiple heads with different figures being sold on different sites, having a single place to pre-order as many figures as you want is a huge improvement.
>>8905246How we haven't had saurians in this line is beyond me. Just do what they did with the Minotaur, new hands, new feet, new neck piece and maybe a tail that plugs into the back square.
>>8905265I love my purple dragon.
