Eh, thigh cuts always seemed alot more kid-toy-ish to me, probably because that's what the change toylines use . Bandai should have maybe allowed the hips to swing down further enough to give just a bit more give when raising the leg up, so you can go up beyond just 90 degreeds.
Still, you do get a pretty decent amount of movement out of them for what they are, you can actually get them to cross their legs and everything. If i couldn't get them with type 2, then i'd prefer these to an actual thigh cut.
