>>9940481I hope not. I think that there's potential here. Yamaguchi likes the look of big sculpted billowy folds, but most people do not like plastic capes. I have been imagining for a while now a system where capes have a simple "grid" of internal wires, kept in place by being sewn down to the cape at certain key points. This would allow you to "sculpt" the entirety of the cape, like a mesh.
And I mean, I don't really know if it would work well in practice, but I'm just some dumbass, you know? Someone smarter than me could probably figure it out. But I am hopeful that they try something new and innovative, whatever that might be.
