Since in their first minicomic, we saw Skeletor and Kobra Khan alone in Snake Mountain when they released the ones in the pool to the timeless dimension and almost none of the pre-existing Evil Warriors showed up in later minicomics, I like to think that Skeletor pissed them off so much that they left (probably with Evil-Lyn as leader).
