The only one I meticulously give a shit about is my Milwaukee Road collection. My side-venture roads are purely for my enjoyment and I don't give a heck about the finer details on those.
So I am now a member of two different clubs. I joined what may be the premiere club of the Twin Cities area. I had to roll one of my trains and several of my locomotives five times around the layout without a problem to qualify them for use during the next open house. I had to weed out three of my freight cars, but everything else did just fine. This new one is going to be fun as hell!
Pic related, my MILW power leading their freight train along the Cambridge line. This is essentially the main branch line of the layout, allowing operators to get at the real gritty industrial switching. Running here is kind of a bitch, cuz your train is out of sight under the layout for long periods of time. The layout does have two monitors and dispatch watching these rails.
