Being a unique oppurtunity to learn, I've allowed it a degree of free reign over the course of the week, carefully monitoring its activity. As a precaution I've sealed off my room just in case it tries to enter while I'm asleep. I've installed cameras and motion detectors in every room for remote viewing. While it seems suspicious, I don't think it knows yet what the cameras are. Sometimes it gazes into the feed though.
The other day it opened a drawer and it found new gum. I believe this was always its main objective. Every day it modifies its body and refines it's form further. This body is already much more developed than the original gummy.
As a side note. It doesn't seem threatened or concerned by my presence. It will gesture to me but never stay in the same room for long. I'm unsure if there is something it could be hiding or if it simply is shy.
