It looks like it's made of separate colored piece with just the logo being painted on the blue part so no paint wouldn't be too bad. Unless they make a new mold or include a different gun, I think the rifle would come as is. Goggles were on the original figure so I don't see them removing that. Bandana and side arm weren't.
