>>10047863>It's pretty bad this one isn't even half-way therethe vast majority of successful kickstarters take a while to reach this point
It's actually rare for kickstarters to be HISS tank rate of success.
Shit like the Skystriker was struggling for weeks and only managed to reach its goal when the Cobra addons were announced
It's not like they'll sell any more or fewer by reaching their goal sooner or later, because there's a limited amount of collectors willing to spend this much for toys AND are fans of whatever is being sold. This is why Kickstarters in general are so loaded at the beginning and end, because the amount of backers are set. People just like taking action early and right before the deadline.
This Ghost Rider wasn't even popular, where even it's number one issue only sold 50k (number ones can sell hundreds of thousands) and was almost at cancellation numbers just a few issues in.
So i wouldn't be surprised if they stay at the half way point for their goal all throughout the entire fund raising period.
I should note that if they make Mephisto or some other popular character as a stretchgoal, it might fuck over everyone who wants that figure but doesn't want to pay $350 for it. Forever rare.
So it's in everynoe's best interest, if any stretchgoal figure they want is announced, that this Pulse kickstarter doesn't get funded.
