Vertebreak has a partsforming tail, but it becomes a weapon, and can be stored on her back if you want to give her different weapons or have a neutral stance. The fuck does cliffjumper's backpack do?

If something partsforms to become a weapon/shield but cant store anywhere in robot mode it's way easier to lose it when you want to display them in a neutral pose or with a different accessory. Loose connections make this even worse. Hell, nightbird's underwear doesnt isnt even meant to come off for transformation, but mine popped off in storage somewhere and wasnt in the box so I guess she's going commando now.
My question is, why are people okay with partsforming?
