The traditional G1 design's car carrier is chunky as fucking hell and really not realistic at all compared to how skeletal car carriers are in real life and literally thinking the word "skeletal" gave me an idea. Imagine just a normal bayformers Optimus Prime clone, only the car carrier he's pulling transforms into some kind of exo-skeletal power armor that he'll then wear in battle.
A robot power suit on a robot would look pretty silly but just the idea of it is neat. Have they even done anything at all with UM is bayformers yet?
